ES3AERO is an Aerospace Engineering Consulting company specialized in Aircraft System Design and Integration, and Development and Certification Testing. The company was established in May 2016 with the main goal of proving high quality and specialized engineering services to the growing experimental and development aircraft industry.

In recent years we have been supporting our clients in the integration of sustainable technologies including electric motors and the usage of more environmentally friendly fuels such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Hydrogen.

We, individually or/and as part of the same team, have contributed to develop and certify some of the most innovative airplanes in actual market, i.e. Airbus Military A400M, Airbus Military A330MRTT, Eurofighter and the Bombardier CSeries family.

Our expertise and related consulting services assist the aerospace companies in increasing their efficiency, performance, and success. 

What We Do

Our mission is to offer excellent contract/temporary and long-term project-based services to aircraft manufacturers and established engineering firms requiring aerospace expert consulting services. 

Projects can be delegated to ES3AERO directly or arrangements can be made to supplement and assist a client’s own in-house staff. The Company seeks to provide the aerospace market with a new, competitive and economical option.

The Company offers its clients a variety of comprehensive expert consulting services at each stage of the aviation process. These steps include flight and ground testing, improvement of actual functional test procedures with time reduction purposes, development and certification testing support and project execution. The Company’s overarching goal is to provide quality solutions that help people and organizations to succeed.

Meet Our Founders


  • Co-Founder & Executive Officer

    ES3AERO co-founder and executive officer Ignacio started his aerospace career in 2008 working as a consultant in flight test for military and civil aviation. His primary skills lie in integrating novel technologies into safe and practical experimental flight test vehicles, particularly for Fuel System and Inerting System and in Engine, APU and Fire Protection technologies.

    ES3AERO co-founder and executive officer Javier has been working in the aeronautical industry since 2007 and brings a wide breadth of experience and unique expertise in this industry to his executive role with ES3AERO. Prior his time with ES3AERO Javier was personally involved in well renowned development and certification aerospace programs such as A400M at Airbus Military and CSeries at Bombardier.
